The Royal Family and Dental Problems

The Queen Mother is well known in the royal family for standing alongside her husband during his unexpected and awkward rise to the throne. What many other people remember her for however is her yellow/uneven smile. While the queen mother had access to dentists and orthodontists alike, it would seem that she just wasn’t interested in changing her smile. During her early life, cosmetic dentistry would have been almost non-existent, and it is believed that she was not concerned about her teeth due to this fact.

This attitude for neglecting for teeth has changed in the royal family down the generations, with several of the current royal family using dentists and orthodontists to provide them with a dazzling smile. It is well noted that Prince William has had cosmetic treatment to fix his smile after losing a tooth. It has also been suggested that Meghan has possibly received orthodontic braces and some form of tooth whitening treatment. On the other hand, Kate Middleton has a very natural smile that doesn’t seem to have been altered in any way.
